Is the festival indoors or outdoors?
Most festival activities will take place inside The Royal Hotel. However, certain activities, such as the Ghost Walk, will take place around the historic streets of Whitby town.
Is the event suitable for beginners or only experienced paranormal enthusiasts?
The festival is designed to appeal to both beginners and experienced paranormal enthusiasts. There will be a wide variety of activities, talks, and demonstrations suitable for all levels of interest.
Attendees aged 16 and under
For younger paranormal enthusiasts, Junior Paranormal will be present to discuss opportunities for younger investigators and will be hosting an afternoon speaker session.
Visitors can also enjoy browsing a range of artisan craft and alternative stalls throughout the festival.
Attendees aged 16–18
All speaker sessions and workshops can be attended with responsible parental supervision. Please note that some sessions may have advisory age restrictions, and parents or guardians are responsible for determining whether the content is appropriate for younger attendees.
Do I need prior knowledge about paranormal investigation to attend?
No prior experience is required. All investigations and demonstrations are led by experienced paranormal investigators, and people of all abilities and levels of knowledge are welcome to attend.

Can I buy tickets on the day?
VIP Tickets, Workshop Tickets, and Witches & Warlocks Ball tickets must be purchased in advance.
Speaker session tickets may be available on the day, subject to availability.
Do I need to print my ticket or can I show it on my phone?
Ticket holders will be issued with a lanyard as proof of purchase upon arrival at the event. However, it is recommended that you also keep an electronic copy of your ticket available on your phone.

Will paranormal equipment demonstrations be available?
Yes. Certain workshops will include demonstrations of paranormal investigation equipment, allowing attendees to learn how these tools are used during investigations.
Are there guest speakers or investigators attending?
Yes. The festival will host some of the UK's most respected paranormal investigators and speakers. Many of them will also be available for informal discussions and meet-and-greet opportunities throughout the festival.
