A Kindred Event Festival by Kindred Spirit Investigations
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending a Kindred Events festival or event, all attendees agree to the following Terms & Conditions
1. Tickets
All tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise stated by Kindred Events.
No refunds will be issued for any payments made, including deposits, instalments or full ticket purchases, except where required by UK law.
Lost, stolen or damaged tickets will only be replaced at the discretion of Kindred Events.
Tickets may not be resold for commercial gain without the prior written consent of Kindred Events.
All deposit option tickets must be paid for in full by 14th January 2027. Failure to do so will render the ticket null and void and your ticket will be resold with no refund.
2. Speakers, Performers & Programme Changes
The advertised programme is subject to change without notice.
Speakers, performers, workshop leaders, investigators, entertainers and exhibitors may withdraw, cancel or change due to illness, travel disruption or circumstances beyond our control.
Kindred Events will make every reasonable effort to secure a suitable replacement where possible.
Changes to the programme, guest line-up or timetable do not constitute grounds for a refund, compensation or exchange.
3. Ticket Prices
Every person attending the event must purchase the appropriate ticket for entry.
There are no complimentary admissions or exceptions unless expressly authorised in writing by the Directors of Kindred Events.
Speakers, volunteers, traders, exhibitors, investigators, performers and guests must hold the appropriate accreditation or ticket as determined by Kindred Events.
4. Event Changes, Postponement & Cancellation
Kindred Events reserves the right to amend event dates, opening times, venue layout, programme, activities, speakers, exhibitors and schedules where necessary.
Should the event be postponed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled event wherever reasonably possible.
Kindred Events shall not be liable for travel, accommodation, subsistence or any other expenses incurred by attendees due to event changes, postponement or cancellation.
5. Admission & Conduct
Kindred Events reserves the right to refuse admission or remove any person whose behaviour is abusive, threatening, discriminatory, intimidating, violent, disruptive or likely to compromise the safety or enjoyment of others.
Anyone under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs, or found to be using illegal substances at the event, may be refused entry or removed without refund.
Harassment of staff, volunteers, speakers, exhibitors, traders or fellow attendees will not be tolerated.
No refund will be given to anyone refused entry or removed for breaching these Terms & Conditions.
6. Personal Responsibility
Attendance at the event and participation in workshops, talks, paranormal investigations, demonstrations and activities is entirely at your own risk.
Attendees are responsible for their own personal belongings at all times. Kindred Events accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal property.
Attendees are responsible for ensuring they are physically and medically able to take part in any activities they choose to participate in.
7. Paranormal & Spiritual Activities
Paranormal investigations, ghost hunts, mediumship demonstrations, psychic readings, spiritual workshops and related activities are subjective experiences.
Kindred Events cannot and does not guarantee any paranormal activity, spiritual communication, personal experience or specific outcome.
All such activities are attended voluntarily and entirely at the attendee's own discretion and risk.
Talks, demonstrations and readings are provided for educational, entertainment and spiritual interest only and should not be regarded as medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.
8. Speakers, Opinions & Content
The views, opinions, beliefs and statements expressed by speakers, workshop leaders, exhibitors, performers, traders or guests—whether during presentations, interviews, social media activity or in their personal lives—are entirely their own.
Such views do not necessarily reflect or represent the opinions, beliefs, policies or values of Kindred Events, its Directors, staff or volunteers.
Kindred Events provides a platform for a wide range of speakers and discussions but does not endorse every opinion expressed.
9. Traders, Readers & Exhibitors
Traders, readers, therapists and exhibitors operate as independent businesses and are solely responsible for the products and services they provide.
Kindred Events accepts no responsibility for purchases, contracts, advice, treatments or services offered by third parties attending the event.
Any disputes relating to products or services must be resolved directly with the relevant trader or exhibitor.
10. Photography, Video & Media
Photography, filming and video recording may take place throughout the event for promotional and marketing purposes.
By attending, you consent to the use of your image, likeness and voice in photographs and video recordings used by Kindred Events in print, online and on social media.
Anyone who does not wish to appear in promotional material should notify the organisers before the event or speak to a member of the event team on arrival. Whilst every reasonable effort will be made to respect such requests, this cannot always be guaranteed in public spaces.
11. Recording & Social Media
Audio recording, video recording, livestreaming or broadcasting of talks, workshops, demonstrations, investigations or performances is strictly prohibited without the prior written permission of Kindred Events.
Photography for personal use is permitted unless otherwise stated by the event organisers or the individual speaker, performer or exhibitor.
Any unauthorised commercial recording, reproduction or distribution of event content may result in removal from the event without refund and may lead to legal action where appropriate.
Attendees are asked to respect the privacy of fellow guests and obtain permission before posting identifiable images or videos of others on social media.
Kindred Events reserves the right to request the removal of any online content that is misleading, defamatory, infringes copyright or intellectual property rights, or misrepresents the event, its speakers or participants.
12. Accessibility
Kindred Events will make reasonable efforts to provide accessible events wherever possible.
It is the responsibility of attendees to review venue accessibility information and contact us before purchasing tickets if they have specific accessibility requirements or require assistance.
13. Right to Search & Prohibited Items
Kindred Events reserves the right, where considered necessary for the safety and security of attendees, staff and exhibitors, to request a search of bags, luggage and other personal items before or during entry to the event.
Refusal to cooperate with a reasonable search request may result in refusal of entry or removal from the event without refund.
The following items are prohibited unless expressly authorised by Kindred Events: illegal drugs, offensive weapons, fireworks, explosives, flammable materials, laser devices or any item deemed by the organisers to pose a safety risk.
Kindred Events reserves the right to confiscate prohibited items where permitted by law or require them to be removed from the venue before entry.
14. Data Protection & Privacy (UK GDPR)
Kindred Events is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Personal information collected will only be used to administer bookings, manage events and send marketing where you have consented.
Your personal information will never be sold to third parties.
Information may be shared with trusted suppliers where necessary to deliver the event.
You have the right to access, correct or request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal requirements.

15. Assumption of Risk
By attending and participating in any paranormal investigation, ghost hunt, workshop, demonstration or other event activity, attendees acknowledge that they do so voluntarily and entirely at their own risk.
Activities may take place in historic buildings, outdoor locations or venues with uneven floors, steps, low ceilings, reduced lighting and other hazards.
Participants agree to follow all safety instructions given by Kindred Events staff or venue representatives.
Failure to follow safety instructions or acting recklessly may result in removal from an activity or the event without refund.
Participants accept the inherent risks associated with these activities except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
16. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kindred Events shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, expense or inconvenience except where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot legally be excluded.
Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
17. Force Majeure
Kindred Events shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control including severe weather, flooding, fire, pandemics, government restrictions, industrial action, transport disruption, terrorism, utility failures or venue closure.
18. Acceptance of Terms
The purchase of a ticket and/or attendance at a Kindred Events event constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
Kindred Events reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version published on the Kindred Events website shall apply.
19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
