Lead investigator, director and chief ghost-chaser at Kindred Spirit Investigations.
I spend my time organising ghost hunts for the public and asking the age-old question: did that door just move… or was it my imagination?
In 2025 I hosted the North East's first paranormal and spiritual festival at Walworth Castle, Kindred Samhain, proving that one or two spooky nights per weekend simply isn't enough to keep me occupied! Being the glutton for punishment that I am, this year I opened Kindred Events and aim to bring you more paranormal and spooky themed events across the UK.
During the day I'm Head of Education with nearly 30 years in the sector (most of it as a senior leader). At night I swap lesson plans for EMF meters, REM pods, spirit portals and talking to myself in the dark!.
My paranormal journey started early with an “imaginary friend” who sparked a lifelong curiosity about the spirit world. That curiosity led me to Spiritualist churches, where I eventually served as Vice Chair, and later into tarot reading and past life regression work—something I remain fascinated by.
I love the serious side of investigation, pushing boundaries, and discovering new and occasionally very scary experiences in the paranormal.
Because honestly… who doesn't enjoy a good scare?

Holly Cabbage, known as The Northumbrian Witch, is a practising folk witch, paranormal investigator, and speaker who draws deeply from the rich folklore and magical traditions of the North East of England. With a lifelong connection to the spiritual world and the landscapes of Northumbria, Holly's work blends ancient folk practices, intuition, and a deep respect for nature.
Holly specialises in Northumbrian folk magic, exploring the old customs, charms, and protective traditions once common in rural communities. Her practice is rooted in the belief that the land, the spirits of place, and ancestral knowledge all play an important role in modern witchcraft.
Alongside her magical practice, Holly is actively involved in the paranormal community, regularly attending investigations, events, and festivals where she shares her knowledge of folklore, energy work, and traditional witchcraft. Her talks often explore the connections between local legends, historical practices, and the unexplained experiences reported across the region.
Through storytelling, demonstrations, and discussion, Holly offers audiences a fascinating glimpse into the enduring magic of the Northumbrian landscape and the traditions that still whisper through it today.

Kindred Spirit Investigations
I'm Adam, a psychic medium with nineteen years of spiritual development under my belt. It all started when I was thirteen, walking home one night from being out with friends, when I first saw spirit. Things got really interesting when I moved into a haunted house and faced a shadow man, which is when I decided to truly hone my abilities. Beyond the spooky stuff, I'm fascinated by the architecture and history of the buildings I investigate. When I'm not spending time with my two kitties, who I consider my familiars, my passion is bringing the spiritual world into the public eye. I love taking a team to explore new places, finding great joy in sharing information about the spirit world and showing people what exists beyond the earthly plane.
